A character sheet is a necessity of play in 4e. Â In this video we show you how to use the great web app iplay4e and place your character sheet in a wave.

Hi, I’ve been following your presentations on using Wave for gaming. Your reference to the iframe was hard to follow for me. I don’t have anything on the bar that shows the iframe url. Could you explain more concisely how to install the iframe plugin from stock?

After messing with it for a bit, I’ve found the iframe reference URL. But GV is refusing to add the widget to the tool bar, which is of course not your fault.
Great post by the way, I use the iplay4e site as well, so your tips were pressed into service immediately.
Thanks so much for this, gamefiend! It was good fun watching a video with iplay4e in it.
By the way, you can also add a gadget URL directly to a wave. It’s the icon that looks a little like a puzzle piece. That way, you don’t have to reverse-engineer the URL from iplay4e, you can just use the provided gadget URL.
Also, we’re working on some serious expansion to our Gadget functionality, so that you’ll be able to embed an entire party into a Wave (or any Google Gadget host, for that matter…)
Cheers,
Andrew Reutter

@manna awesome. We used iplay4e at the table yesterday in conjuction at wave and it was all good!
@andrew No…Thank you! When we played last night, all agreed that having iplay4e is better than any amount of power cards, paper and pencils.
I will try out the gadget URL right now! That’s even better. Thanks and keep up the great work!
I’ve been looking around for articles similar to this but never found one that actually was valuable such as this. Glad I found this place!

Been reading up on your articles extensively. Good stuff. Re-enforcing some old hopes i had about 4e while showing new possibilities. I am speider@googlewave and wondered if there was any chance i could get to follow one of your games on wave, if any?
